RE: [OT] Vista just arrived

Really?

I've also been running Vista Ultimate since the MSDN release. It caused
some
issues with the graphics card in my existing machine (not entirely Vista's
fault, I think; there had been issues with it under XP, too) so I used it
as
an excuse to buy a new Dell Dimension 9200.

I also have one of the Home editions installed on a basic laptop.

It is, I have to say, an absolutely massive improvement over XP. OK, we
know
Aero is very nice but there's soooo much more. I love UAC (though many hate
it). Search is fantastically quick. It's not missed a beat. I can't
remember
what a blue screen looks like anymore. Power saving features are great,
particularly the new Hybrid Sleep.

I could go on, but needless to say, I think it's a fabulous upgrade from
XP.

And don't get me started on Office 2007...

Steve
