That'll be a PITA if you ever change projector and suddenly find a
need for an IEC mains cable, surely?. Why not run a 1.5mm^2 twin and
earth to a [hidden] fused spur (or even a mains socket...)? Then you
could just cut the plug off a normal figure-8 lead and use that.
