How does it appear to the OS ?
Do you see 1 single Drive equal to total space across all drives - Or each
drive seperately.?

I have two of the 8 bay firewire to IDE enclosures from
www.specialtech.co.uk and I've been able to stream four or five full DVD
bandwidth movies off then simultaneously by a single firewire cable. I get
about 17Mbytes/sec sustained from a single drive.
