Howdy home automation gurus!

My name's Steve and I'm doing a Computer Studies degree @ Derby
university. Basically my dissertation (final year project ... Argh
scary!) is to prove/show how wireless technology can benefit the
development of smart homes/home autmation.

I was recommended to this group by a friend who has done a similar
project.

I was just wondering if any of you kind chaps (or chapettes) could
point me in the direction of some good reading material. I confess
i've already bought 'Smart Homes for Dummies' and also another
simple introductory book on wireless technology. X10 seems like the
only way to go, but I dont have much on that.

Reeeeeally appreciate any help / advice you can spare a poor student
like meself!

Best regards, thanx in advance =o)

Steve.
