After initially slagging Target
(http://www.ibfriedrich.com/english/index.htm)
on this list I stuck with it
an am really glad I did! I got the lite version from Maplin for about £30
IIRC and I can't imagine needing more. Has schematic capture, autoplacer,
autorouter, decent component library, lots of output options etc. If you
need more than two layers though it starts getting expensive!
