I dabbled with this a while back, with ISDN to the internet I couldn't get

a fast enough connection I gave up.(Broadband arriving 3rd Dec YIPPEE!!)=20

Mine is running on my W2KSBS server, I believe the ISA server is
preventing=
access to the ports that the radio is being streamed through, I can't reme=
mber which ports but I definitely had it working bearing in mind that not
a=
ll stations stream in a format that Slimp3 can decode.

I have installed the "SLiMP3 Server" program (v4.2.2), on a Dell
running Wi=
ndows 2000 Small Business Server (SBS).=20

SBS uses ISA Server v3.

When I try to stream internet radio, the SLiMP3 device displays
"error: Can=
not Connect".=20

Dean at Slim Devices has concluded that this is a "host
unreachable" error.

The SLiMP3 device communicates with "SLiMP3 Server" only, and the
"SLiMP3 S=
erver" program is running as a standard windows service, logged on as
Local=
System, on the Win2k Server machine.

I can stream internet media on all other clients, but they are running ISA
=
firewall client.=20
Also, "SLiMP3 Server" does not yet support a proxy server (is
this the issu=
e?).

Can anyone suggest a way forward?
