Hi Gerard,

I wish I could give a view based on experience, however, my TH-42PWD6 is
still in its box under the kitchen table... :-( (still, at least I got the
wall bracket mounted at the weekend...)

I bought mine from
http://www.av-sales.co.uk/plasma/html/panasonic_th-42pwd6_plasma.html
who I
can highly recommend, (dearer than your price though!). I went down there
for a demo before I bought it, and I saw it next to the Pioneer. The
panasonic was definately brighter and more vibrant, and the black was
blacker...

Not much I know, but hopefulll useful....

Paul G.
