I have my projector on a shelf about 6 inches from the ceiling. The
projector lens is level with the top of the screen. The projector is
upside down and the image flipped. This is the recommended setup as
it prevents then need for any adjustment of the picture. Most of
these LCD projectors are designed to be used on tables projecting
presentations onto screens that start at table height. So by placing
the projector at the same height as the top of the screen and
inverting it, you have the same setup.

P.S. I only use the s-video connection on mine as my AV amp can only
do s-video switching.
