Paul,
How exactly do you regulate volume from Slimp3? If I understand correctly,<= BR> Slimp has only line level outputs, so you need to teach Slimp's remote
commands for volume+ and volume- on your amp. That's O.K. if your amp is a<= BR> standard Hi-Fi one.
I had an idea having some small, fixed gain amp, without remote hidden
somewhere. Then, I would like with Slimp to regulate volume.
Similar like Line Out on some sound cards. You still can adjust sound level=
through software although you are using Line level output.
Or I am wrong here?

The SliMP3 does _not_ have on-board amplification.

Yes it is possible to adjust the SliMP3 output volume using the supplied remote. As the remote is a universal learning type (Sony), it should also b= e
possible to teach it the codes for your stereo, so in theory you should be<= BR> able to have the choice...
