Re: help! AW10 going pop
Using the formula " Power = Volts * Amps " and transposing
gets " Amps =
Power / Volts " then with the current nominal supply voltage of 230
volts
and the imeersion heater rated at 3000watts then you are looking at a
minimum 13Amps hence the reason they are usually fed from their own 15A
circuit from the fuse box.
Was an electrician in past life (JIB approved as well)...
