RE: 19" Rack - eBay

Having never played with a rack - how does one go about installing
things like hi-fi separates, VCR, Big DVD player, digibox, video
processor etc into such a thing?

I currently have a whole load of home made shelves in a big walk in
cupboard - which frankly looks a bit of a dogs dinner.
