Les unless you live in the land of the cloudless sky,  I'd consider doubling
the batteries..
check with a local weather nut and find out the average number of cloud-over
days..
Plan your battery use/life to take into account that none or under charging
times..

Need to supply 12vdc with a load of about 50ma for 24/7/365.

Anyone know of a source that will provide all as a package sized to fit so
