Ok,

Download <a href="http://www.xplhal.com/xpl/xPL_Launch.zip";>http://www.xplhal.com/xpl/xPL_Launch.zip</a>
and unzip into a folder
somewhere on the pc running xplhal

Start the xpllaunch.exe application, go into devices waiting config in
xplhal manager, double-click tonyt-launch.default and change the newconf
parameter to test1 and click ok

Now go to tools/send xpl message

Choose xpl-cmnd in the drop down

In the first line of empty boxes type

Application in the left box and notepad.exe in the right box

Click send message, and notepad should launch

To run on another machine, launch the vb6 xplhub and another copy of
xpllaunch Again configure it, say this time to test2, and send the message
again, notepad should launch on both pc's

To launch on just one pc, change the target in the message from * to
tonyt-launch.test2

This app is using a temporary schema of shell.basic
The full options are
Path=<path to application> - optional
Application=<appl name> - required
Style=HIDDEN/NORMAL/MAXIMIZED/MINIMIZED - optional - default is normal
Focus=YES/NO - optional - default is no

It sends a targetted trigger message of
Status=OK/FAILED
Application=<specified application>

When I get a minute I'll add a 'program now closed' trigger message too

Regards
Tony
