Freedom is a new open source home automation project on Google code.
Written in Java it runs on Windows, Linux, Mac and Solaris and it's
distributed under GPL2 license. It supports X10 devices, Android,
Arduino, BeagleBoard and more, and can be deployed on a network of
cheap peer-to-peer hardware. It is scalable and provides automatic
load balancing across nodes on the network. If you are a professional
developer or interested in do it yourself (DIY) building automation,
Freedom can help to easily create your own building automation system
without starting from scratch. The team describe the system as a CMS
for home automation...
