Where did you buy it from - was it one of the on-line suppliers that's
based in the EU?

rather than a UK plug. Yes, you can use a converter but I dont like them as
they can be easily knocked due to bulk.

Aren't you obliged to supply a 3 pin unit in the UK ? The PSU is moulded so
cannot chop it.
