Cutting PVC trunking cleanly...

I need to cleanly cut mitres in some 4" x 2" rectangular profile
trunking and was wondering if anyone knows whether it's possible to use hot
wire cutters to get a nice clean and square cut or am I stuck with using my
old 18TPI mitre saw which doesn't do that good a job on the relatively
floppy box section of the trunking...
