It looks like the RGB PAR cans take *5* DMX channels to control them - not
three. Don't ask me why though as I haven't a clue - I'm just Googling this
sh*t. :-D

They tend to be:
Red
Green
Blue
Effect Select (RGB, colour change, sound to light, etc)
Speed of Effect

or some similar combination, depending on the actual manufacturer.
