Like lots on here my loft is a storage area, distribution system, switch
room and junk yard.

The reason I post this question here is that on other lists I'd just be

to be green and clear out the loft. Then they get anti technology and the
flame war starts. Of course I should bin everything and buy it new every
summer to save the planet.

In the real world (or the UKHA one at least) if it isn't practical to
blanket cover the joists (cross wise as the empty loft picture) what are
th=
e
options of (cheaply of course). Do those miracle silver foil blankets
stapled to the rafters work?
