Hi,

I can vouch for strange problems due to faulty memory too. I had a
nightm=
are problem with several faulty components which I wrote about here:

http://bit.ly/7xdPa2=20

In the end =96 it was the faulty memory which was dramatically slowing the
=
PC down and causing random reboots.

BSOD. It was a couple of years old at the time, so FWIW in the end I repla=
ced the motherboard as I could find no logical other fault, having
replaced=
memory, disk etc etc. It was then fine again and has worked for years sinc=
e. I would strongly vote for hardware failure of some sort, probably bad
s=
oldering (which I once did find and fix in another Dell laptop.)

it's a software issue and I have to pay for support to fix it but the mini=
