And it's not like the Daily Mail to scare monger, is it ;-)

To be taken with a pinch of salt for now, as other have said, there's so
many applications where CFLs cannot be used I can't imagine this becoming
law as easily as the Daily Mail would make out.  Besides, there's always
eBay ;-)

It was front page news in the Daily Mail - 10th March.
EU are banning incandescent lamps within two years.
