There is supposed to be some way that they can stop a make/model of
player from working if it gets hacked, and if the link is not copy
controlled the signal gets down graded, but nothing to stop you
reselling, renting or using a disc on multiple machines.
They probably wish they could do that, but be a fast way to go bankrupt.
