Remote power off of NAS?!

HI all,
I have my av rack inc pc, amp, xbox etc on x10 modules to turn on and
off remotely. (I always shut pc down first)

I now have my NAS on 24/7 but to be honest don't need anything like
that level of power on.

So...my question, is there any issue of me cutting the power to the
NAS using X10? there's a power button on the front but not really sure
what shutdown it goes through,

at the moment im just using a lacie 320gb network drive but question
applies to bigger nas i.e. terrastation as I plan to move to something
similar eventually

Thanks

Noel
