RE: Sky HD Noise :-o
I've not been impressed with the Sky HD box thus far for numerous
reasons
the noise being the least of them.
I've had it randomly reboot, often while recording especially two shows at
once.
The fast forward/back is garbage, it often "jumps" segments.
It's noisy.
The guide is rubbish and dog slow.
The picture can be "juddery".
Picture breakup is not uncommon.
Lip synch issues are also commonplace.
All in all I'd have to say that it's really not that great.
