I have one as an out an out satnav unit its great. Spoken road names
etc is fairly amusing if not useless!

What really lets it down imho is the bluetooth phone connection. The
supplied mic is crap and as u can't output the sound via the external line
out its fairly inaudible at speed (There is a hack that gets round this but
it made my unit flakey).

Ignore all the forum posts about flakey mounts that problem is fixed with
the new v2 mount.

Thanks

Hi

So I've decided that I need a GPS and I don't want it integrated with my
phone, PDA or body, I just want a GPS for the car.

The TomTom 910 looks good because of the 20 GB HDD allowing easy playing
of MP3s and the kids talking books.

But, Googling the 910 reviews indicates it may not be as good as it
seems . . .

Would anyone who's got one like to share their experiences - Good or bad.

TIA

Neil
