Hi Kevin

I'm a MainLobby user too - but not HomeSeer, and yes you are right it wont
work on 770 because its Flash - though i believe they have looked at it.

I like the idea of some kind of web front end as it will mean control from
anywhere on virtually any device.

xAP floorplan sounds interesting - i guess floorplan etc. is available from
the xAP site ?

The other alternative seems to be CharmedQuark - though as a complete
replacement for MainLobby looks a little too indepth, though it may be a
route i'll have to take.

Dean.

I use MainLobby as a C-Bus front end (via xAP/HS) which is very polished
in appearance, but I don't think ML will be useable on the Nokia as it
is Flash based. I don't believe the Nokia has a Java VM either does it
? I have also used XLobby with the xAP plugin but ongoing development
of XLobby seems to go in stops and starts by the author so I would base
any usage on what it does now rather than futures.

There is one other possibility which could achieve what you want - let
me check if they support the 770.

If you like Ajax based web solutions it may well be that xAP Floorplan
will run on the Nokia 770 - I haven't tried it though. If it does that
will give you exactly what you've asked for with realtime
display/control of C-Bus devices (if you use the xAP C-Bus gateway) ,
it also includes a scheduler and script engine. You can skin the
background and device icons to achieve any look you want.
