Node 0 Woes - 12V distribution

I am moving my main server to a new quiet chassis as the noise has now
become an issue - like a dripping tap or ticking clock, once you have
noticed it there is no hope for you. Problem is it means moving a load of
stuff out - coupled with the fact that I just bought a new 21"
widescreen monitor which means more rearrangement - The domino effect has
now started - "well if I take out the screen, chassis & cables I
might as well paint the room..." etc. so I am resigned to it being a
bigger job than just swapping the chassis and screen - problem is when I
put it all back.

Now the problem - I have a bunch of plug-in PSUs and transformers for
Speakers, hubs, etc. and thought I might try and rationalise them. Can I
just source a decent quality 12V transformer and run all the 12V stuff from
some sort of distribution block? Has anyone done such a thing? Anything I
should be wary of? I guess a decent 12V tranny will be head and shoulders
better than the cheap Chinese ones that ship with many devices. Any
suggestions for the beast in question?

TIA

Tim.

Painting... in the is weather, I must be mad!
