Shouldnt cause any problems whatsoever. K-break or Disconnect Clear Time to
give it its more proper name in the digital age is standard on exchange
lines.

ADSL is a high frequency carrier superimposed on the line. At the house end
the filters you fit to phones prevent the high frequencies from reaching
the
phones but allow the normal speech band and DC signalling conditions to
reach the phone.

The filter serves a dual purpose in that the ADSL carrier is severely
attenuated by the low impedance of the phone if a filter isnt present and
the carrier may also be audible on the phones giving a hissing sound when
ADSL is in use.

At the exchange end there is a similar Low/DC pass filter between the line
and the exchange equipment. Anything on the low pass side of the filter
should have no effect whatsoever on the ADSL carrier.
