Well - Im Back!

Hi Guys!

Its time to call my 'one man protest against yahoo' over and have now
joined back up! - I hope their (mis) management got my protests! (Mmm)

anyways...hope I haven't missed tooo much ( I've been keeping an eye in
IRC's #ukha channel) and will no doubt be coming out with all sorts of
stupid questions and posting 'too close to the edge' - I can finally get
my old 'UKHA' rule working again in email (not that I like to come home
to 200 odd messages in my inbox)

As for my interests etc... Been working in 'puters for 17 ish years -
from 3+share -> lan manager -> NT etc... building pc's, have very
limited electronic skills (ok the difference between a capacitor and
resistor and those 3 legged things :)) - Just started a R&D up at work
so hopefully get to play with all the new stuff - sadly business related
I guess :)

Kinda have a home network - Web server (www.planetwayne.com :) ) - email
- Asterisk phone system (with help from Andy!) and ebay for the cisco's
- Typicaly no ceiling in the hall as it needs re-doing (oh and all the
network / coax and alarm cable going in). Oh and there's a MV1000 video
server and Slimp3 thanks to Matthew :)
Also finally managing to slowly convert SWMBO over to home automation
(she has a laptop too now!).

Well - enough waffle - Let the email flow!...
