Noel,

Just about the only motherboards that support PCI-X are fairly high
end ones for dual CPUs.  Note that a PCI-X card will fit in a standard
PCI socket, but you just won't get the full bandwidth.

I have an Asus A7M266-D in my media server which supports PCI-X and
hosts a 16 channel Adaptec SATA RAID card.
