The daily questions/answers are the meat of the list, but for me the most
memorable things were the early bulk buys. Things like the frenzied Epods
bulk buy :)

I happened upon my Wireless LAN review the other day -

Amazing to remember a Wireless Access Point cost over a thousand quid until
a few short years ago.  In the "early years" having a wireless
LAN at home
was unheard of, and pretty cool.  Now you can walk into PC World etc and
walk out with the hardware for buttons.

The best thing (for me) has to be Broadband.  It adds so much to all the
other lighting/cctv/heating/security stuff to be able to remotely control
and monitor it.
