Fw: Sonos cradle pictures

ok, so the next thing is - get a cradle and try to make our own. I want
them to be flush mount. I never walk around with the controllers so why
should I have wires dangling around ? I want to choose a point for all 3
controllers in the house and leave them there. I can imagine you still
having to hold the controller steady whilst you use it as the base may
well move on whatever surface it sits on - at least if it's wall mount you
can use it with one hand and it doesnt move.

I would assume we need to get a cradle and then somehow
"continue" with
the fascia design and make a new fashioned template. From there you can
take a negative (latex, plaster mould ??), and then from there the end
goal would be a plastic moulding ?

I was thinking of the vacuum forming method presented on this board a
while ago - not sure how easy that would be as we are only making a small
number. But I really feel it's worth it for what I want.

I was thinking that....bit annoying really, and it looks like it won't
even
hold the controller if you do manage to rig up some sort of angles
platform.
Boo!

Looks like the hack to make a proper wall mount unit will be tricky as
this is angled !
