I got my replacement cable at the weekend too - the large type. Having read
that
thread, I thought I should check my power supply and resolder the
connection, so
I've just had a look.

I don't have the same sort of power supply mentioned and my power supply
connector is properly attached to the board with screws/rivets (can't see
from
the top), so I wonder why they sent me a large new cable if that's the
problem
it's intended to fix?
