IR Motion detection problem

  • Subject: IR Motion detection problem

I have the following problem with the IR-motion detector in my garage: very
rare (may be once a month) it detects a very short movement during daylight
time, when there is definitely no movement (we have no pets, etc.).

This detector is also measured every night during two hours continuously
and
has shown no false indications at all during the two years of measurement.

The detector is positioned on a south wall and does not receive any direct
/
indirect sunlight. There are no moving curtains, etc.

I like to have a solution because my alarm trips also on this detector.
Please advise
Harry Hendriks
