Just a thought, is this aggregation self defeating?  If you have, say, 512K
with a contention of 20:1  and assuming that you are the only person using
the bandwidth so that you get it all, then 2 x 512K would actually be the
same as you would be sharing it 50/50 with yourself.

ISTR Nildram were going to offer up to eight 512Kbps ADSL connections that
could be aggregated to effectively give up to 4Mbps/2Mbps up/down.  I
forget
the exact details.  If you're after a device to aggregate multiple ADSL
lines, this will be your only option as it's not possible without ISP
cooperation or lots of bandwidth available somewhere upstream.
