I use xPL.

Everything received via RF is sent down the powerline.  I can switch the
built in appliance module on and off using the remote, but nothing happens
if I send that command via the powerline (from the PC).

I thought I'd read somewhere that the appliance module in the TM13 only
responded to RF commands - but maybe I was wrong and the unit is duff.
