Aha, that's great. I'll have a hunt around.

Thanks Paul

Hi Stuart,

If you can get hold of a AUI to RJ45 device these have lights
on. I opened one up and soldered a 9v batter to the regulator that is
inside. Works a treat.

Regards,

Paul

Hi,

Does anyone know if its possible to connect an LED up to the end of a
RJ45 patch panel that when plugged into an outlet will light if there is
a network link??

Is there any other way of checking for this, simply, without resorting
to expensive testers??

TIA

Stuart
