Not sure on the Radio, but I know that Maplins in Slough (Farnham Road)
sell
radios that they say can pickup air traffic. Plus they are 5 minutes from
the motorway.

M4 Junction 6
At the roundabout, take the exit for slough.
At the next roundabout (With the two hotels either side) go straight over
At the big crossroads (Three tuns) go straight over
Keep on that round for about 1 1/2 miles (You go over a bridge, and through
about 3-4 sets of lights)
Maplin will eventually be on your right hand side, just after a set of
lights.

Cheers

Marc

Hi All

I am in need of some help!!!

I am going down to Heathrwo this afternoon to watch Concordes last
landing from the Grandstand and I would really like to listen to the
Air Traffic Control as they come in. The problem is that I dont have
a clue what type of radio I need.

It would also be useful is someone knew where I could buy one of the
radios this morning, Somewhere around Slough?

Anyone got any ideas?

Ben
