On the Tivo remote you have a button called:

Aux: Which switches Sky Input straight out to Output Scart (Bypass Tivo
compression etc.)
Video: Which switches item(s) on that Scart input (Perhaps DVD, Video)
to Output Scart.

So Tivo in essence has a basic 2:1 switcher built in.

I *think* I explained that correctly!

Yes, it has it's own dedicated SVideo out socket. Works at the same time

as the SCART.
