Says its running OS 1.31

It's supposed to be a version 2 model.

I changed the HD and i'm sure it was getting it wrong prior to that too.

I have one and yes very hackable - what firmware do you have? Also try
formatting the hard disk as it does store pointer info on it.

I know there's a few users here.

Anyone have problems with theirs ?? - are they hackable ??

Mine seems to forget where it was last used. Keeps going back to a previous
stopped position. Also had a bit of trouble with it overheating in the
summer.

Is anyone hacking them ? - would be nice to have a less flaky system
