Hi gang,
Apologies for yet another [OT] post, but figured this would interest=20
you lot.
SendMyTxt are developing a range of inbound SMS solutions for launch=20
in the next couple of months. We're looking for people who would be=20
willing to test our inbound service. Basically you get a regular=20
07xxx mobile number, and any texts sent to this number will be=20
delivered to your application (Homeseer, xAP, etc) via an HTTP call.
As it's a beta trial, we won't be asking you to pay service or=20
number rental charges - however we will be asking you to cover the=20
costs (5p-6p) of any outbound messages you send. Inbound messages=20
will be delivered to you free of charge.
Any takers? Drop me an email off list. I'm already getting excited=20
about the possible uses [hey look - I can switch my lights on at=20
home by SMS! ;-)]
