Re: AWM2 - what a total crock

Coincidentally, last Saturday I had one do exactly the same thing. Went
int=
o the
sun lounge and the lights wouldn't turn on.

The heartbeat light was no longer flashing, push the set button and the
lig=
ht
came on but was not programmable and couldn't reset it with a power cycle
either.

Again about 18 months since install, anybody else had problems?

Nice idea, bad in practice (and expensive) (2nd one to go wrong, 1st was
DO=
A)

You may remember from my review of the AWM2 on Mark's site
(http://www.automatedhome.co.uk/article.php3?story_id=3D752)
that I was les=
s=20
than thrilled with it at the time.

I'm even less thrilled 18 months later, now that my AWM2 has completely
loc=
ked=20
up. As a little bonus, it completely jams all x10 communications when it
do=
es=20
so, making the problem a nightmare to track down.

So that was 70 quid well spent. :(
