In answer to your and Steve's question, an MCE PC can change the channel on
Sky boxes thanks to an IR emitter which comes with the MCE remote control.
So yes, it can work with Sky, but you need hardware to allow it to change
the Sky channel.
AFAIK, you can't get the MCE remote control units in the UK. I found mine
on eBay US.
