Hi Frank,
Glad they got there safely.
What I find confusing is that the parcel got all the way from the UK to
Australia QUICKER than a First Class parcel got from Glasgow to Great
Yarmouth !!
In less time than it took to walk back from the Post Office to my desk at
work, I sent an email from Paypal and received a reply with the payment.
(Its only a few "0"'s and "1"'s sent across the
internet so it should be
quick).
I then send the money from Paypal to my Bank Account, again just a few 0's
and 1's so it should be quick..... NO... it took exactly the same number of
days to arrive as a physical parcel that travelled to the other side of the
globe !!!!
