Requirements are very low in my experience!
My Jukebox PC serves 400gig of Audio and video to PCs and xboxes round the
house.
It's an ancient Pentium Pro 200 with 128meg (kindly donated to me by Paul
Gordon).

It's running Windows 2000 Pro. OS is on a 1.2 gig drive (just!).
The 2 x 120gig and 1 x 160gig hang off an ATA100 PCI card.
