Ian has a xAP enabled relay board - it works using an RS232 based xAP
implementation so could be controlled via any PC with a spare port. You
would run a xAP bridge on the PC to transfer Ethernet based xAP messages to
RS232 .

On each client PC you would create a small text file containing an 'open
the
door' xAP message - these would be named open.xap or something. Having
installed Stuart B's xAP Send application on each client you could then
just
double click on the file and the door would open !
