bluetooth for voice control

Hi Guys
I'm a bit of a Newbie.
Has anyone tried a Bluetooth headset as a means of talking to a
computer. I was thinking along the lines of Homeseer. If I buy a
Bluetooth USB adapter for the desktop PC, pair up the little earpiece
(that those nice people at O2 have just given me for free), tell the
PC that this will be my Mike & Speakers - surely I can then wander
around the house (10 metres) and control HA gear via Homeseer?
Waddya think?
