This is the only part of the board I would query, but that is because I
am an Abit man. I just bought a very similar system to you as an upgrade
and went for the Abit IC7-G Max-2. It's a little bit more expensive but
well worth it. It has 4 SATA Connectors, 3 Firewire, 4 USB 2.0 and is
far better for overclocking.

You might want to add a 52x CD-R in there too ... only =A340 more.

Also, if you got the Abit, you could get this:
