Hi Michael,

When you buy your xbox in the shop, it can do the following :-

Play games ;)
play Audio CD's
Rip Audio CD's to WMA format on the built in 8/10 gig HDD

Buy the dvd kit, and you can play DVD's for the region of the kit.

Install a modchip, and well there is so much you can do, I don't know

to start. Basically it then becomes an x86 compatible PC which anyone

can get hold of certain copyright software) can program whatever they

for.

To give you an idea of whats possible, I will give you the spec of the

and let your imagination work out the rest ;)

64 Megs of ram
8/10 gig hdd

Optional VGA out
Optional RGB out
Optional Optical out
Built in 10/100 full duplex port
