If you think about it, if they allowed manual recordings thorugh 
TivoWeb then it would be possible to use another program guide. So it 
doesn't surprise me that manual recording is not enabled and I 
wouldn't expect it to be in the future.

non+subbed tivo + digiguide + parsing appplication + manual tivoweb 
recording = potential destruction of tivo business model ?
