Hi All

I am sure someone out there could explain how to do this in very
simple layman's language. I have looked at the Xap sites and am
totally baffled about what they are talking about! I am starting from
the point of having no idea what a Schema is, what you do with it or
whether it goes on the PC, the Tivo or what.

My Tivo has a Turbonet card and I can successfully use Tytools, so
the Network bit works fine. I have used the really good guides on the
list before with out problems, but this time I am way over my head.

My modem has CallerID which Works and I also have a modified BT50
which gives the CallerId info at the Com port. So I would like to use
one of these to pick up the info, then forward it to the TIVO, either
directly or by using a program that recognises the number and
substitutes it for a known name.

I am running win98SE and have downloaded and installed the
Microsoft .net Framework 1.1 as one of the site suggested. However,
what next? I previously tried a programme called YAC that was
recommended, but it does not work with WIN98 so that option was not
available.

In summary does anyone know of a dummy's introduction guide to
getting my CallerID info onto the Tivo. appologies if this has
already been covered but I did not find anything in simple enough
language which I could follow.

Thanks in advance for any help

Tom
